Carol Novack 1948-December 29 at 8.55pm 2011
There are many tributes for Carol. I just wrote a little piece and sent it to Marc Vinzenz, I will give notice when it will come out.
Marcus Speh calls his tribute a Flash - and speaks of death and of Carol in his post to his blog: Marcus Speh - Nothing to Flawnt. He also direct us to Fictionaut where I can see some tributes. One by Robert Vaugham: Three for Carol.
Halvard Johnson dedicates the first issue of Truck 2012 to Carol Novack by welcoming Larissa Shmailo as an Editor, Larissa's words are sincere. I commented on the sadness of it all, on the fact that such a variety of tributes take place when a person is already gone. Just so sad.

Wow, such sad news. I worked on a panel with Carol for AWP a few years ago in NYC; we went to a play and gathered at her place before our big shindig at the conference. We also read together at the KGB.
There's really nobody like Carol out there in the world. I know, this is a lame tribute but I only learned of her passing just now and can't believe it. We need more people like her in this world.
